01 / Inside the Haus

A little nostalgia.
A lot of personality.

My home, my canvas. Built over time, lived in every day.

Thrifted finds, vintage hi-fi, and pieces I’ve learned to see differently. My Nigerian roots and years of studying design inform how I bring it all together. The soundtrack is never far away.

01

Rooms with character

Rich color, chrome, warm wood, and objects collected over time. A home that feels personal.

02

A life in stereo

Vintage hi-fi and the pleasure of putting on a record. Sound is part of how a room feels.

03

The everyday, considered

The morning coffee. The evening playlist. Making space for the small things you enjoy.

From the design notebook

Always
evolving.

From the living room to the bedroom and cinema room, my home is a canvas that keeps changing. These visualizations are how I explore color, materials, and the next chapter of each space.

Designs I
keep coming back to.

Furniture, art, and music that shape my world. The pieces I live with, the rooms I remember on screen, and the artists I keep coming back to.

Brian Emeka.
Call me Emy.

Documenting my
mid-century crisis.

I’m Brian Emeka—call me Emy. Nigerian-born and based in Virginia, I’m building a home through thrifting, years of studying design, and a love of music.

EmekaHaus is where I share that process: the finds, the experiments, and the things I keep coming back to. Vintage hi-fi, furniture with character, and rooms that feel lived in.

There’s usually jazz playing—Coltrane, Miles Davis—or Fela and Sade. The home is still evolving. So am I.

Thoughtful products. A shared point of view.

Let’s make something
worth spending time with.

I collaborate with brands to highlight products that fit my vision, identity, and the world of EmekaHaus. Through cinematic storytelling, I bring them into the spaces and everyday rituals I share.
